The Logo Creation and Design Process
A practical look at how Panjere Studio turns a strategic brief into a distinctive, responsive and production-ready logo.
A strong logo is not a decorative sketch. It is the visible result of research, positioning, experimentation and disciplined refinement.
Start with the brief and the strategy
The first step is to clarify what the brand stands for, who it needs to reach and how it should be perceived. A useful brief aligns the client and the design team around the business goal, the competitive context, the desired personality and the practical places where the identity will live.
- Define the audience and positioning.
- Agree on the attributes the identity must communicate.
- List technical constraints, applications and measures of success.
Explore distinct directions
We begin with several genuinely different concepts rather than cosmetic variations of one idea. Each direction remains inside the agreed strategy, but tests a different visual logic. This breadth creates a better basis for discussion and makes it more likely that the final mark will feel both relevant and original.
Refine the strongest concepts
Two or three directions move into a second phase. Here we test legibility, proportion, typography, colour and the quality of execution. The goal is to understand how each concept behaves as a system—not only how it looks on a presentation slide.
Validate at real sizes
The final candidates are tested across digital and physical applications, from a small interface icon to large-format use. Responsive variants may be created when a single level of detail cannot work everywhere. Contrast, recognisability and reproduction are checked before a decision is made.
Deliver a usable identity asset
The approved logo is delivered in vector and raster formats, with colour, monochrome and size-appropriate versions. A brand book can then define the wider identity: spacing, typography, colour, imagery and practical rules that keep the brand consistent as it grows.
